Ashcliffe Psychology is a private clinical psychology practice offering a broad range of psychological services in Perth Western Australia.

The Ashcliffe Psychology practice is comprised of a team of Psychologist’s offering a variety of areas of expertise.

The Directors, Kerryn Ashford-Hatherly and Michael Tunnecliffe have between them more than 50 years of clinical experience and both have worked in senior management roles within government, non-government agencies and the private sector.

Kerryn Ashford-Hatherly - Clinical Psychologist

Kerryn Ashford-Hatherly is a Clinical Psychologist and Director of Ashcliffe Psychology.

Kerryn has extensive experience working with alcohol and drug issues, critical incident response, domestic violence, PTSD and trauma.

Her expertise includes counselling, group facilitation, workshops, training and consultancy. Kerryn has an eclectic approach to her clinical work incorporating existential theories alongside evidence based practices such as Solution Focused Brief therapy, CBT, EMDR, Schema Therapy and Transpersonal Therapy.

Kerryn also runs personal development workshops on The Enneagram, Reflective Practice, Dream work, Mindfulness and Emotional processing.

Kerryn is a former Police Psychologist with considerable experience in PTSD and Critical Incident Response planning, implementation and debriefing.

She is also Supervisor trained and a Director of the Matrix Program for Intensive Outpatient Addiction Treatment .

Michael Tunnecliffe -

Clinical Psychologist

Director of Ashcliffe Psychology and the Matrix Program. Michael has more than 30 years experience in Clinical and Senior Management positions.

Michael has held senior positions in both government and non-government agencies. Michael oversees the co-ordination and supervision of Ashcliffe Staff as well as Director of the Matrix Program, Intensive Outpatient Addiction Treatment.

Michael is US trained to Supervisor level in the Matrix addiction treatment model and his work now solely focuses on the Matrix Program intake and facilitation. In his spare time Michael studies Philosophy.
