About Kerryn Ashford Hatherly and Michael Tunnecliffe,

Meet Kerryn Ashford-Hatherly and Michael Tunnecliffe, our esteemed presenters who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in clinical psychology and management to our learning management system. Kerryn, a Clinical Psychologist and Director of Ashcliffe Psychology, has a clinical background in working with clients who present with complex issues such as alcohol and drug dependencies, domestic violence, and PTSD. Kerryn's expertise extends to delivering impactful workshops, training and personal development sessions for organisations wanting to improve their understanding of Mental Health and wellbeing in the workplace. Kerryn's background includes experience as a police psychologist and working with first responders in various organisations; working Fly-in-fly-out with major mining and oil and gas companies, supporting and training leaders and workers with mental health first aid, critical incident response, alcohol and drug awareness, behavioural de-escalation and managing difficult behaviour.  


On the other hand, Michael, with over three decades of experience in clinical and senior management roles, brings a strategic perspective to our team. Michael is a Clinical Psychologist who has held senior positions in both government and non-government agencies, including the Executive Manager of the Police Psychology Unit for Western Australia Police. Michael ‘s professional focus is psychologist supervision and presentation of training courses in-person and via webinars. He has been an invited presenter at numerous conferences across Australia and overseas on topics related to the treatment of trauma and the enhancement of mental health and well-being. Michael also has a background in Employee Assistance and was an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Trauma Counselling at the University of Notre Dame Australia for 10 years.Michael works in a consulting capacity with senior personnel and organisational leaders. He also works in the area of Professional Ethics and Moral Injury.
